34 year-old Eric Lindros announces his retirement, in his home town of London, Ontario after 13 years. The former No. 1 pick had 372 goals and 493 assists (865 points) in 760 games.
He's not leaving hockey though. His new team is the NHLPA. Lindros was named ombudsman for the players association. He will also serve as a non-voting member of the executive board.
